How It Works

  • Eligibility: Membership is by invitation or open to anyone who has completed a purchase with Astro Dog (www.astrodog.com.au) previously.  
  • Billing: Monthly fees are calculated to cover Anthropic’s team membership and all administration, operational costs, and group growth initiatives. Payments are managed securely by eWay or PayPal, Stripe or Wise (Bank deposit with your local Bank).
  • Access: Members will be signed up and can use Claude Teams for private projects that fall under terms and conditions.  Team plan accounts are separate from Pro plan accounts and cannot be carried over.

How It Works

1. Joining Process

  • Membership is by invitation or for customers who have previously purchased from Astro Dog.
  • After purchase, you will recieve a aiteam.net.au email address (e.g. member@aiteam.net.au) which you use for your Anthropic Account Access.  

2. Billing and Payments

  • You need to membership every month.  You can purchase it in advance if desired.  If no payment has been received by the end of the month, the service is terminated.  

3. Team Communication and Administration

  • You can read about how a Claude team works here.
  • AI TEAM members’s accounts are set up without ‘collaboration’ unless you and another member want that and both request it.  
  • Data exports are done on your behalf if and when you request it  and costs USD$10.
  • Your data is your own. Learn more about project visibility and sharing.
  • Astro Dog will assume administrative responsibilities, including addressing breaches or conflicts in good faith.  

4. Enterprise Transition

  • Once the group reaches 75 members who wish to migrate to Enterprise a new package will become available to purchase.  We anticipate the cost to be between USD$99 and USD$120 per person.

5. Support and Resources

  • There is no training, support, or FAQ provided by Astro Dog beyond what is explicitly outlined in the terms. Members are encouraged to visit Anthroscopic for additional support.

Step 3 - Agree to Terms and Conditions

AI Team Membership Terms and Conditions

  1. Membership and Eligibility
  • Membership is available by invitation or to customers who have completed a purchase with Astro Dog
  • Upon joining, members receive an aiteam.net.au email address (e.g., member@aiteam.net.au) for Anthropic Account Access
  • Astro Dog reserves the right to approve or deny membership applications at its discretion
  1. Billing and Payments
  • Monthly membership fees cover Anthropic team membership, administration, and operational costs
  • Payment is required in advance each month
  • Payments are processed through eWay, PayPal, Stripe, or Wise (local bank deposit)
  • Service terminates at month-end if payment is not received
  • No refunds are issued for terminated accounts
  • For founding members (4), a refund may be requested at any time through eWay, PayPal or Stripe until a full group is established.
  1. Account Access and Usage
  • Members receive access to Claude Teams for private projects
  • Team plan accounts are separate from Pro plan accounts and cannot be transferred
  • Collaboration features are disabled by default but can be enabled upon mutual request
  • Data exports are available upon request for USD$10
  • Members retain ownership of their data
  1. Prohibited Uses
  • Members must comply with all applicable laws and Anthropic’s usage policies. The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Illegal activities (fraud, hacking, copyright infringement)
  • Creation or distribution of misinformation, spam, or adult content
  • Any use that could result in account bans or harm the group’s relationship with Anthropic
  1. Disclaimers and Warranties
  • Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind
  • Astro Dog does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service
  • Astro Dog is not responsible for any outputs, decisions, or consequences resulting from the use of Claude AI
  • Members acknowledge that AI technology is evolving and may produce unexpected results
  • Astro Dog makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the service for any purpose
  1. Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astro Dog, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including but not limited to:

  • Legal fees and costs
  • Claims arising from member’s use of the service
  • Violations of these terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights
  • Damage to property or persons resulting from service use
  1. Intellectual Property
  • Members retain ownership of their input data and direct outputs
  • Members grant Astro Dog a limited license to store and process their data as needed for service operation
  • Any improvements, modifications, or enhancements to the service remain the property of Astro Dog
  • Members agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the service’s underlying code or methods
  1. Force Majeure

Astro Dog is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War or terrorism
  • Pandemics
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Changes in Anthropic’s services or policies
  • Cyber attacks or security breaches
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Astro Dog’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the member in the previous month. In no event shall Astro Dog be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • This includes but is not limited to:
    • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
    • Business interruption
    • Cost of replacement services
    • Damages resulting from AI outputs or decisions
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Queensland, Australia
  • If mediation fails, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration here in QLD
  • Members agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action
  • The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees
  • Members have one year from the incident to initiate any legal action
  1. Compliance and Reporting

Members agree to:

  • Promptly report any security vulnerabilities or suspected breaches
  • Cooperate with any investigation of suspected violations
  • Maintain accurate contact and billing information
  • Comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws
  • Report any unauthorized use of their account
  1. Service Modifications

Astro Dog reserves the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service
  • Change service providers or technologies
  • Require additional terms for new features
  • Members will be notified of material changes via email
