The Kson 127 Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA with Vixen Plate

This is a compact and powerful optical design that combines a front meniscus lens and two mirrors. The telescope is well protected from humidity, dust and pollution and will give you a long life. Even though the scope is very compact by nature, the optical design allows you to have a long focal length allowing high magnification with the standard eyepieces. The magnification and resolution power  is a key feature that makes this scope a favourite with planetary observers.

The Kson Mak 127 is one solid little hombre with an unusually solid build quality.  It comes in at a hefty 3.7kg, largely due to its particularly rugged construction.  The blue finish was excellent, and looks very nice indeed.  There was very little plastic we could find, the focuser, even the cap was metal, with felt on the cap ensuring a snug, comfortable fit.  The focuser was smooth and precise, with a dual screw eyepiece holder, so there are no slip ups.
