The Kson A127G “Ki’mah” is a Mk II classic air-spaced, crown-and-flint, doublet achromatic f/9.5 refractor.

Like the A102G, it has some special optical upgrades.  It features a superior-class optical figure (due to the high quality hand ground lens.  Hand ground lenses, while slow to produce, are exceptional in quality.  It also features a step up in the optical glass used, and uses superior QK3 glass which resulted in an even more contrasty view with less CA than you would normally expect.

You will be impressed by crisp lunar, planetary and deep space images revealed to you at the eyepiece, and all at a small fraction of the price you’d pay for a comparably sized apochromat refractor.

The new “Ki’mah” is impressively made, with lots of throught and care going into the design, and delightfully – from the dew shield to the focuser, no plastic.

It comes with the special Mk II heavy-duty, high quality components, including a 2″ metal Crayford-style focuser with heavy duty metal knurled knobs, a cradle ring assembly with Vixen-style dovetail mount and a superb padded luxury case.

The luxury case is worth talking about.  It’s full length, takes the whole scope, and allows lots of room for accessories to be fitted inside also.  It is shorter than you might think due to the A127G’s retractable dewshield, so is quite compact and can easily fit in the back seat of a car.

Just add a finder of your choice (the Kson 8×50 is gorgeous and gives great views in it’s own right, plus get an astrometric eyepiece with it), a few regular eyepieces and the alt-azimuth or equatorial mount of your choice and you’ll be ready to go!

NEW Mk II Upgrades

• Focusing knobs upgraded to 1.5″, notched metal versions which allow you easy and solid focusing!
• Most refractors have one or two screws which dig into the eyepieces / cameras.  We’ve upgraded the connector to a three screw compression ring system to securely hold heavier loadouts
