These extremely popular 45 degree 1.25″ prism diagonal flips the image for terrestrial viewing.

A telescope naturally flips any image you look at through it.  This is not a problem for celestial objects where you don’t mind the moon being the “wrong way around”.  It’s a different matter when viewing things here on earth.  This diagonal flips the image so that what you are looking at appears upright.
