An excellent Mini PC for Astrophotography Capture and Automation

The Astro Force Mini-PC’s are small but pack a lot of power so perfect for setting up next to your telescope running capture software such as NINA, SGP, ASCOM, EQMOD, SharpCap, FireCapture, etc.

Great for capturing data but can also be used for processing with it’s 16GB (upgradable to 32GB) and 512GB M.2 SATA SSD which has plenty of available space for software and imaging captures and more. This small yet powerful Mini PC  Window 11 Professional pre-installed.

An Intel Celeron J6142 quad-core processor has a burst mode, just like the J4125 but has more memory channels (memory bandwidth 55% higher). This newer 10nm low energy chip is powerful enough for most capture tasks without stalling or delays and can be run from a battery pack (not supplied).
16GB DDR4 provides enough memory to run multiple applications at once and in our experience is plenty for a capture platform.

These mini PCs are designed to run silently – no fans and have additional accessories that are exclusive to Astro Dog and are designed to make things as simple and painless as possible.

  • We include a 3m 12v 2A cable to power the unit.
  • Special adaptor which allows it to easily be attached to a tripod or mount / scope.
