Kson 102mm / 900mm f/9 Optical Tube Assembly

DESCRIPTION

The Kson 102mm achromatic refractor in a amazing f/9 focal ratio is outfitted for great performance.  Images are brighter than with a 80mm refractor, with better resolution and slightly better viewing of planets and double stars while still remaining very portable. Its general nature makes it a great choice for viewing planetary objects such as Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon as well as many deep sky targets including star clusters, and its portable size makes it easy to bring along on trips to dark skies.

The doublet objective lens is multi-coated for excellent light transmission, and the build quality is excellent with a ‘made for life’ philosophy – an all metal tube with no plastic parts – even the dew cap is metal.

• Hand figured lenses, with excellent finishing and K9/QK3 glass.
• Includes Luxury Red Rings.  Slide the telescope up and down the tubes to balance it easily when mounted to your scope.
• Compression ring focuser, which tightens evenly and prevents distorted viewing and damage to accessories.
• Kson’s unique tri-lock system with three screws on the focuser and compression ring prevents slippage and can hold accessories firmly.
• Kson’s focuser knobs are not plastic like many competitor rings, but are also metal, for lifetime use.
• It comes with an 80mm aperture cap transforming it into an f/11.25 instrument for use with brighter objects, or where a longer focal length is required.
