The Kson KM2 AZ (Alt-Azimuth) mount is Australia’s sturdiest AZ 2 mount, with many users preferring it to most competitor AZ3 mounts.  It sets up easily, uses a simple AZ (up down / left right) system, features a proper counterweight system which allows up to 3.5kg to be mounted and even has classic long, slow motion control system with a glow in the dark knob system (recent upgrade).

Features a 200mm Pier as standard marking it particularly comfortable to use for longer focal length telescopes and those of us who are a bit taller.

Particularly notable is its double saddle, a feature usually not available at this price point.  Astronomy telescopes attach directly to the mount via a standard Vixen-type dovetail bar.
